The anamorphic correction module is the high-end module of our 35 BL up-grade package for ARRI 35 BL cameras. For the first time a 35 mm camera is on the market that provides in series a switchable anamorphic correction and a zoom view-finder extension.

If the camera is used for Steadicam configuration the viewfinder body can easily be detached. The handle, as well, can be detached. When using a 400 ft magazine and and the handle folded down the 35 BL- Evolution is the camera with the lowest overall height and a very low noise level.

The 35 BL-Evolution viewfinder system can be mounted on ARRI 35 BLII, BLIII, BL4 and BL4s cameras. A 12V power supply must be provided for the P+S glow-system which is part of the viewfinder system. The electronic connection between viewfinder and camera is compatible with both ARRI BL4 and BL4s. All ARRI eyepieces can be used without restriction. Regarding an optimal image in the viewfinder please have a look at our wide angle eyepiece.

Any experienced service department is able to mount the viewfinder system without problems. The connection for video assist is provided, the video assist itself is a separate module. All standard video cameras can be used with our viewfinder system.
